Since the US Supreme Court repealed the 1992 Professional and Amateur Sports Protection Act in May 2018, many US states have legalized sports betting services, leading to a rapid expansion of the market throughout the nation. Featuring several prominent US regulators, this panel will take a look at the current state of sports betting post-PASPA, discuss the issues that potential licenses should focus on when considering entering a market, review the regulatory challenges that have arisen, and discuss what future challenges and opportunities they now face.
Moderated by George Rover, Managing Partner for Princeton Global Strategies, the panelists are:
•Sandra Morgan, Chairwoman, Nevada Gaming Control Board
•Brian Ohorilko, Administrator, Iowa Racing & Gaming Commission
•David Rebuck, Director, New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement
•Sara Gonso Tait, Executive Director, Indiana Gaming Commission
