Since the start of 2013, James Thomson, manager of the Rathbone Global Opportunities Fund has been steadily building his exposure in the US, and new holdings and themes are emerging in the portfolio. Some commentators are suggesting that the US is now fully valued. In this update James explains how he sources good quality growth companies that deliver strong performance over the long term.

The Rathbone Global Opportunities Fund is an actively managed fund with a distinctly different approach to other mainstream global equity funds. It has consistently been one of the top performing funds, available in the UK since its inception in May 2001 (Source: Financial Express, as at 30.09.13)
