About this talk

Join our panel of industry leaders to discuss the effects of the COVID-19 crisis on our healthcare infrastructure, and the opportunities that were presented for IoT and advance technology solutions to help pave the way through future crisis. As the pandemic swept the globe, healthcare professionals work to provide the best facilities to prevent infection and to save those who are already infected. However, even in the most developed countries, our infrastructure is weak, and we were unprepared for anything of this magnitude. While most of the news on this front is scary, there is a bright spot: this unexpected disease forced disruption and innovation in unprecedented ways as industries were confronted with new ways of conducting business and caring for patients. Join a round table of folks who have been front and center in the pandemic for a discussion of pre-Covid use cases, their challenges and lessons learned. While everyone has done a tremendous job given what was available, this crisis brought out many of the gaps that existed. With so many IoT and advance technology solutions in development, there is opportunity to radically improve the way we approach and solve societal challenges, and these technologies can help to pave the path through future crisis.
