About this talk

Factory of the Future has an evolving definition but some elements are always in common. It is the product of fast-changing disruptive technologies hitting manufacturing. When AI meets Automation, it enables the vision of autonomous production within reach for the first time. ML running on embedded hardware is becoming an effective option. In this session, we will discuss use case of an Embedded ML implementation into a manufacturing process that enabled an autonomous manufacturing such that it self-adjust equipment settings adaptively without the need for engineers or technician's reacting to remedy problems. The factory of the future provides potential to innovate and grow doing tasks that are more challenging. Autonomous technologies can cater to what is repeatable. The Factories of the Future will be far more data-driven and agile. It is a new beginning for Manufacturing.
