About this talk

The U.S. Armed Forces participated in Red Hat Open Innovation Labs for an immersive, human-centered design engagement. During the first phase of the engagement, the United States Marine Corps (U.S.M.C.) defined and validated a strategy for creating a new flight scheduling system. Its teams also learned about iterative, user-focused design thinking, and agile product development practices to build in-house expertise. During the second phase, the U.S.M.C. and United States Air Force worked with Red Hat to develop an initial demo version of the new system. In this session, hear about this engagement and how teams worked closely with Red Hat to learn about open, collaborative culture and become familiar with open source technology. We encourage you to submit questions during this presentation. Tune in to the Ask the Experts: Ask the Experts: Live Q&A on open process panel for answers from our subject matter experts.
