About this talk

Backends for Frontends, or BFF, is a common microservices pattern in which each UI (web, mobile) has a custom backend API. In this presentation we will introduce a better approach! GraphQL, a query language for APIs, simplifies your API’s backend and delivers significant advantages to front end development teams. Quarkus, Red Hat’s Supersonic, Subatomic Java Runtime, is an excellent GraphQL server. In this talk we will demonstrate how and why you should leverage GraphQL for your microservice backends and demo a GraphQL backend with Quarkus.
