While much of the focus of phishing is focused on companies, phishing is an everyday problem for consumers. With no IT department or stacks of money to spend on anti-phishing solutions and training, home computer users are left alone to defend themselves. They are at the mercy of phishing tricks arriving almost daily in their email box meant to steal their account information, encrypt their systems with ransomware or worse. Our goal today is to provide you with a handful of simple, easy to remember tips you can use everyday to recognize and delete phishing emails before you fall prey to their scams.
