About this talk

Everyone is adopting Postgres, and why not? It’s a great database engine. In some organisations the adoption is driven and supported by the technology function. Where that’s not happening, Postgres is being adopted anyway, somewhere off in the shadows. There’s more to providing Postgres than just getting enterprise support for it. Developer self-service is increasingly important, and lack of this capability just drives usage back into the shadows. Any database servers provisioned by developers through self-service tooling also need to do all the right corporate compliance things regarding backups and patching. It should also be easy to see that these tasks were completed successfully, or why they were not. Join us to see how Data Management for VMware Tanzu provides the tools you need to build a DBaaS capability for Postgres - allowing your organisation to adopt Postgres on-premises, or consistently in multi-cloud environments, with minimal engineering and operations effort. We're looking forward to seeing you there!
