Come join us as Kelly McCracken chats with Anjali Gugle about her career, how she grew to be the leader she is and overcame challenges faced within the field. Kelly McCracken has 20 years of experience in the cybersecurity and technology industry specifically focusing in the establishment and standardization of cybersecurity incident response programs. Ms. McCracken has helped develop and lead the implementation of many national-level cybersecurity initiatives for the federal government, to include co-authoring the NIST SP 800-61, Computer Security Incident Handling Guide, rev. 1, the national standard for incident response. Leveraging this experience, Ms. McCracken has helped Fortune 100 companies build world-class incident response programs to be able to detect and respond to the most advanced current threats. As the leader for the Salesforce Security Response Center (SSRC), Ms. McCracken leads a global team of incident handlers, security event analysts, and product security engineers. Ms. McCracken has a BBA in Computer Information Systems from James Madison University, a MS in Information & Telecommunication Systems from Johns Hopkins University, and a MBA from Kenan-Flagler School of Business, University of North Carolina Chapel Hill.
