About this talk

How can organisations shape their workforce today to meet the challenges of tomorrow? Verizon’s latest research – conducted before and after the Covid-19 crisis broke – reveals that 61% of business leaders believe the pandemic has highlighted weaknesses in their business strategy, while 65% report that their strategy will change dramatically as a result of the pandemic. The data from the two phases of the research informed the creation of the Future of Work Index, which measures the progress of organisations across four critical categories of future-readiness: technology, skills and behaviours, leadership, and new ways of working. The data also showed that an elite group of organisations (those that scored in the top 20% of the Index) report better financial performance than their peers. In this webinar you will learn about the four categories and find out why they are the foundation of future success, as well as hearing why the Covid-19 crisis has underscored the importance of acting on the insights now to forge a path to a more profitable tomorrow. Hannah Freegard, Group Editor, Longitude. Moderated by John Williams, Marketing Director, Verizon Business.
