About this talk

Artificial Intelligence Impacts on the InfoSec Risk Environment Join us — the Verizon Threat Research Advisory Center – in this month's intelligence briefing. Our adversaries are using AI and generative AI tools to improve and scale up their ability to conduct the types of bad acts we already need to protect against. InfoSec risk from artificial intelligence will probably increase rapidly with AI tools becoming cheaper and more accessible. Our panel will discuss the use of cyber intelligence to maintain situational awareness and anticipate the most-likely new threats as our adversaries use AI to upgrade the effectiveness of their attacks and create new attacks. Next we will go through the monthly “Ransomware Roundup” with Abdul Abufilat, which provides in depth discussion of industry & geographic effects, new attack techniques, and emerging ransomware malware threats. And then we'll turn things over to David Kennedy, Managing Principal, Open Source Intelligence to cover: • Current Intelligence Overview • Attacks and Threat Indicators • Latest Malware Trends • Significant Vulnerabilities If you have any questions related to social attacks and data breaches that you'd like us to cover on the call, please send them to the following email address:
