Increasingly, organizations are realizing Kubernetes can deliver agility and efficiency benefits for not only their application development but also for their critical enterprise applications running in production. However, with this trend comes additional key considerations which must be addressed. One of the most significant of these concerns is data resiliency for not just the applications themselves, but also the data they produce and consume, as well as the underlying Kubernetes infrastructure.
Attendees will learn about these trends and what the key considerations are as they plan to deploy their enterprise applications on Kubernetes in production. Specifically, we will look at data protection approaches ranging from snapshots, clones, backup, and recovery to address the requirements for data resilience for Kubernetes applications. In addition to these approaches, we’ll also discuss how to handle Kubernetes-unique namespaces, application contexts, and cluster configuration in a manner which allows organizations to protect their existing data protection infrastructure investments.
