About this talk

A recent survey, Linux Becomes a Player in the SQL Server World: PASS 2021 Survey on Microsoft SQL Server Platform Trends, by Unisphere Research, states that nearly one-third of SQL Server Database Administrators (DBAs) are running Microsoft SQL Server on Linux®, with the most popular distribution being Red Hat® Enterprise Linux. The same survey shows that we can expect the amount of SQL Server maintained in the cloud to double over the next two years. In this webinar, Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Red Hat will demonstrate how you can transition to SQL Server on Red Hat Enterprise Linux on AWS and benefit from increased flexibility, performance, and availability of a modern cloud platform. We will cover how to: * Reduce costs by deploying SQL Server on Red Hat Enterprise Linux on AWS. * Use Red Hat Enterprise Linux to deliver SQL Server performance and availability on AWS. * Select the appropriate Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2) instances and options for your SQL Server workloads.
