Scared of data security in SaaS applications? Don’t worry, we have your back

Most organizations have some data stored in SaaS applications or are thinking of moving to SaaS. Some of this migration to SaaS is controlled by IT (sanctioned SaaS apps), while most of this migration is undertaken by individual business units (unsanctioned SaaS apps) in order to achieve better productivity or to get some tasks done. While IT has deployed methods like single sign-on to sanctioned applications, they cannot control access to any unsanctioned SaaS applications using the same SSO solution. And traditional single sign-on solutions don’t provide any control on what actions a user can take after they login to SaaS applications, nor do they provide security policies for IT to control user access to the Internet.

In this session, you will learn about a single solution that helps:

• Improve user experience with single sign-on to SaaS, web and virtual apps
• Implement enhanced security policies for SaaS apps to control user actions after login
• Enable Web filtering to control what users cannot access on the Internet
• Securely browse the internet
• Provide end to end visibility and user behavior analytics with Citrix Analytics

  • Key considerations for SaaS security and performance Dec 18 2019 2:00 pm UTC 70 mins
Akhilesh Dhawan, Matt Brooks, Robin Manke-Cassidy, & Wesley Shepherd
Companies are turning to Software as a Service (SaaS) to ease their cloud transformation and increase agility. According to a Bettercloud survey, 73% of all companies say that nearly all of their apps will be SaaS by 2020. SaaS offers speed to market, great functionality, and lower IT operating costs. However, it can also create IT security and app performance headaches.
Join us as two Citrix experts in the fields of networking and IT provide industry perspective and their experiences on:
-How hackers use different techniques to exploit weaknesses in your SaaS, web, and other applications
-How Citrix can reduce SaaS and web security threats with an integrated solution
-Key factors that influence SaaS and web app performance
-How Citrix can improve application performance for more than 4,000 SaaS apps, including O365
-Why a Citrix-differentiated security approach with a people-centric focus extends the digital perimeter

Learn the pros and cons of 4 architecture options for building your cloud native application delivery strategy in this webinar.

The shift to cloud native is happening now and happening fast. Whether you have already transitioned from monolithic to microservices-based applications or are planning to, you need to modernize your application delivery. A successful strategy requires careful evaluation of your architecture options as well as features for availability, security, observability, simplicity, and more.

In the webinar, How to build a successful cloud native application delivery strategy , we’ll cover:

    ● Pros and cons for 4 architecture options
    ● Kubernetes and open source tools integration
    ● Advanced traffic steering
    ● Insights for faster troubleshooting
    ● Addressing unique stakeholder needs
    ● and more

There is no question that IT transformation triggers change affecting all aspects of an organization. Minimizing and mitigating the business impact that infrastructure evolution prompts is possible with an established application delivery strategy. Two pivotal components affecting application delivery are migration to cloud infrastructure and containerization/micro-services of apps.
Unanticipated changes to either component can significantly impact user and customer experience, performance and reliability; ultimately jeopardizing the reputation of a corporate brand. This webinar equips DevOps and infrastructure architects alike with a clear strategy on how to:
    -Proactively navigate changing IT dynamics
    -Own visibility across your infrastructure
-Control/manage the experience your users demand
  • Securing the WAN in the Enterprise Cloud Era Dec 12 2019 7:00 pm UTC 44 mins

Now that your organization has adopted an SD-WAN, your infrastructure and applications face security challenges from new attack vectors. You need a multi-faceted security strategy with options to protect you at the branch, in data centers, and in the cloud.

Join Citrix for this webinar on best practices to secure your WAN, including:

    - Hosted virtualized (VNF) security for the branch

    - A new, software-defined platform using Network Functions Virtualization to host your choice of security services

    - Automation for simplifying connectivity to cloud-based security services
  • A 2020 Market Guide to Selecting SD-WAN Dec 11 2019 7:00 pm UTC 54 mins
Andrew Leong, Director Product Marketing, R. Scott Raynovich, Founder and Principal Analyst
SD-WAN has become top of mind for many enterprise network operations teams as they look to align better to their organizational priorities of building more agility and efficiency. In pondering which technology projects to prioritize for the year ahead, you might be wondering how to justify a transition to SD-WAN. While benefits such as security, support for cloud migration, and improved user experience may be important, not surprisingly the business case is also about dollars and cents.

Join Citrix and R. Scott Raynovich, Founder and Principal Analyst from Futuriom as we take a real-world look into the drivers, technology considerations, and deployment options that will help in the assessment of SD-WAN in your organization. We’ll be examining the benefits of:

    · Converging networking and security functions at the WAN edge
    · Augmenting or replacing existing connections with lower cost internet and higher reliability
    · Building a platform for application performance, strong security, and easy extension to the cloud
    · Leveraging a service provider to help with design, deployment, and management Additionally, we’ll get some perspective on how several Citrix customers went through their journey to SD-WAN and what benefits their organizations realized.
