About this talk

Do you ever find yourself saying "I can't do it" or "I'm not good enough"? These are examples of "negative self-talk": the automatic scripts our brains default to in certain situations that can derail us and make us feel small. Negative self-talk can quickly take us down a harsh spiral -- especially in times like these, when the pandemic has exacerbated our challenges and many of us are facing impossible choices and heightened anxiety. In this webinar, we'll learn more about what negative self-talk is, how to identify situations that activate your negative self-talk, and strategies you can adopt to interrupt it and strengthen your resilience. Paige Meltzer (she/her) is a strategic change facilitator who builds capacity for more inclusive, innovative, and engaged teams and organizations.
