Containment of Coronavirus has failed and global markets have entered into turmoil with fears that a new global recession has arrived and it’s unknown how severe the fallout will be. The current crisis has many unique features and efforts to quell its impact on markets are likely to have to be unorthodox. Markets are largely unimpressed by the central bank action so far.
