About this talk

Many megatrends represent a choice. Should a company use cloud-based software, for example. We may have a view, but we have to recognise that it’s not required. Cybersecurity is not an option for a responsible business, especially given the different hacks that we have seen of late. If a business is concerned with the data of its customers and its reputation, then it needs a cybersecurity strategy and cybersecurity investment. Now, the challenge comes in predicting which companies or approaches to cybersecurity will emerge as ‘best’ given the plethora of choices. Hackers will keep seeking to enhance their capabilities, so we believe that a cybersecurity strategy in 2022 must focus on the future and consider not what has worked well in the past 10 years, but where we might be over the coming 10 years. Highlights: + How to think about cybersecurity in the current context + Separating recent performance from growth trends + Putting recent news, be it hacks or government policy announcements, into the broader framework Join this webinar to learn more about the cybersecurity megatrend. Megatrends are powerful, long-term, transformative changes shaping the world that we live in today. The exciting new developments in technology create a compelling case for the needs of the future and the industries likely to drive global transformation. We’re running webinars on megatrends that could transform our society: the biorevolution, cloud computing, artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity.
