About this talk

The Software Defined Wide Area Network (SD-WAN) infrastructure market is poised for massive growth. According to a June 2020 Graphical Research growth forecast report, North America SD-WAN Market by Component, the SD-WAN market is set to exceed $5 billion by 2025, a 55% CAGR from 2019-2025. Between the need to support SaaS apps and multi- and hybrid-cloud usage to managing multiple connection types across WANs to improve application performance and end-user experience, SD-WAN deployments will continue to grow. But what does SD-WAN success look like? In the January 2019 webinar, “The Road to Digital Transformation: Putting the Pedal to the Metal,” we discussed the steps Philadelphia Federal Credit Union (PFCU) took in moving from a legacy MPLS platform to the digital experience, including SD-WAN deployment. Join us on July 30 at 1 p.m. ET for “Expectations—and Surprises—of an SD-WAN Deployment,” a webinar from Comcast Business Services. Our panelists will discuss the successes and challenges of PFCU’s SD-WAN deployment over the year since its installation and provide examples of how SD-WAN has transformed the business, making it more agile and flexible. Participants will learn: •How this deployment has changed PFCU’s underlay network •How SD-WAN’s digital tools are providing greater visibility and control •The IT support shifts that have taken place and the managed services being leveraged •The ways in which expectations have been underdelivered on, met, or exceeded •How the network responded to the immediate needs created by COVID-19 (e.g., rapidly scaling remote activity) •What to expect from software defined networks in the future Our panelists: •Richard Costello, IT Manager, PFCU, provides support for everything from database servers and e-mail servers to virtual infrastructure. •Yulia Duryea, Director of Product Management, Comcast Business.
