NDI - adoption and implementation

Seven years after its public launch at IBC, the NDI (Network Device Interface) video transportation technology has achieved impressive traction throughout the broadcast & media worlds. Originally developed by NewTek (now part of Vizrt), NDI’s open-source protocol and capacity to deliver high-quality, low-latency video has made it an increasingly popular choice for live production. It also continues to evolve, and the latest version – NDI 5, introduced in July 2021 – heralds a host of new tools and features.
