About this talk

As the benefits of additive manufacturing become increasingly apparent, organizations are seeking ways to improve processes for 3D printing. PADT has long been at the forefront of both Additive Manufacturing and simulation, purchasing our first 3D printer almost 25 years ago, and when the new ANSYS Additive Suite became available, we jumped at the opportunity to combine these two disciplines to improve our yield and part accuracy for parts made with our metal powder bed fusion system. In this webinar, we will provide a brief update on what ANSYS tools are available for supporting the design and manufacture of additively manufactured parts, along with our experience using said tools, including lessons learned and advice for others who wish to use simulation to drive design and product to take advantage of Metal 3D Printing.
