Presented by

Neerav Jain - Technical architect, Walgreens and Anne Cruz - IT Manager, Walgreens

About this talk

Walgreens, one of the largest retail pharmacy chains in the world, wanted to leverage its data to optimize supply chain business strategy. But to achieve the use cases that improve supply chain efficiency and reduce inventory costs, it first needed to be able to process 284 billion rows of inventory data and sales data from over 20,000 suppliers and 9,000 stores. Current systems were strained while dealing with the scale and cardinality of the data and couldn’t provide timely insights to thousands of suppliers and business users. Neerav Jain, Vikas Hardia, and Anne Cruz describe how they used Kyvos and Tableau to transform Walgreens’s supply chain with instant, interactive analysis on two years of historical data instantly and interactively to get deeper insights into their supply chain.
