About this talk

Enterprise application delivery environments are increasingly complex, distributed, and targeted by a growing number of sophisticated cyber attacks. The Zero Trust model of security theoretically provides a better way to protect today’s network, yet it faces obstacles to adoption by enterprises, particularly with DevOps teams. That’s because the speed at which DevOps teams are required to operate creates an environment where anything that slows them down is seen as a deterrent. And many of the networking tools in use today - such as DDI (DNS, DHCP, and IPAM) - are inflexible, built on legacy hardware, and generally perceived as a roadblock or afterthought by DevOps. However, without these tools, DevOps teams will not be able to ensure the network services they are using are secure, leaving the enterprise vulnerable to outages, downtime or data breaches. Organizations need to think of DDI not as a roadblock, but as a tool that can seamlessly integrate with security policies, ensure network services across the environment meet security requirements. Or in other words, enable true Zero Trust security architectures. In this webcast, NS1’s Field CTO Chris Buijs will discuss why having a rock solid DDI platform enables DevSecOps teams to successfully implement Zero Trust security, without slowing down deployment cycles. Join us to learn more about: - What the role is (or should be) of DDI in the a ZeroTrusted world - What DDI provides and how it enriches Zero Trust with critical network and end-user asset information - How it provides programmatic access to network services and its data - How it can be used to steer network-transactions against policies before sensitive data is transferred Who Should Attend: - DevOps, NetOps, SecOps - SRE (Site Reliability Engineer), Network Engineer, IT architect, Security Engineer, Application Engineers - CTO, CIO, CISO’s or other leaders responsible for leading digital transformation at their company
