2018 marks the 40th anniversary of the launch of China's Reform and Opening Up policy.

Today China is deeply connected with the rest of the world. The Chinese government has welcomed foreign participants into China’s markets and, with the implementation of its “going out” policy, China exceeds other developing countries in overseas direct investment.

The U.S./China relationship is one of the most important bilateral relationships in the world. Regardless of trade frictions, peaceful development and win-win cooperation remain the theme between the U.S. and China, with more to be done to stimulate the mutual benefits for these two countries.
