Over 200,000 computers in 150 countries were hit by this ransomware attack, it grew at an entirely unprecedented rate around the world and is now seen as one of the largest cyberattacks in history. What happened, and why is WannaCry significant? What could have prevented it, and what can be done to prevent, or reduce future ransomware attacks?
