Football Crazy, Analytics Mad? Predict the Euro Club Cup 2019/2020 Winners

It’s time for a new edition of the biggest, most competitive European sporting competition! Well, that’s how we feel at TIBCO. The 2019/2020 edition of the European Club Cup has begun. Who are you supporting? And how will your team do? The team here at TIBCO loves sports too. So we thought, what could be better than using data science and beautiful visualisations to enable you to predict the winners of each game, from the Group Stages in September to the final in May. Using TIBCO Spotfire software, as well as team and player data, TIBCO is providing you with the tools to predict the winners of all games up to the final on May 30th in Istanbul. The dataset we’ve built includes statistics relating to team performance, individual player performance and even the impact the referee and home advantage may have on each game.
