“We were never as busy.” When the pandemic struck, and air passenger traffic was mostly grounded, Air Canada Cargo knew it needed to become more data-driven to preserve its business, and take advantage of the surging demand for freight. They succeeded. And in the process, the team built a new e-commerce business. The Power of Visual Dashboards Adding routes and removing seats from grounded passenger jets was only the most visible part of this transformation. Working with TIBCO, Air Canada Cargo empowered employee groups through real-time data and analytics and with four easy-to-access levels of reporting: push reports, customizable self-serve reports, pre-calculated “grid” reports, and a suite of visual dashboards.
