About this talk

Although the world may look a little different, and work environments have shifted to residences, the need to meet organizational missions has not changed. Developers are being called on more than ever. How can developers and application builders continue to be productive in this new reality? How can operations ensure security, but not compromise the developer experience? In this session, Zohaib Khan will walk you through Red Hat’s CodeReady Workspaces and showcase the developer experience. It provides a fully functional IDE in a web browser that does not skimp on features. It also addresses the typical challenge of “works on my machine” by eliminating differences in configurations between developer workstations and the production environment. The operations team can provision CodeReady Workspaces centrally to deliver a secure developer experience. CodeReady Workspaces bring the developer environment to the code, eliminating the need for one-off setups. Developer onboarding is a breeze. Learning Objectives: - Introduction to Red Hat CodeReady Workspaces - See the developer experience in a live demo - Learn of ways to leverage CodeReady Workspaces to accelerate application development in any environment
