Steiner, Editor-in Chief, Genetics in Medicine Robert D. Steiner, MD, FAAP, FACMG served as a section editor for the journal since 2006 and deputy editor since 2011. He is Professor (Clinical) of Pediatrics at the University of Wisconsin (UW) School of Medicine and Public Health, Chief Medical Officer for PreventionGenetics, and Wisconsin Department of Health Service newborn screening program medical consultant. After obtaining his MD from UW, he completed a residency in pediatrics at The University of Cincinnati/Cincinnati Children’s Hospital and Medical Center. Dr. Steiner trained in medical genetics at The University of Washington/Seattle Children’s Hospital and Regional Medical Center. He is board certified in Pediatrics, Clinical Genetics, and Clinical Biochemical Genetics.
