The mainframe has traditionally been seen as secure because it was obscure. This just isn’t the case anymore – the mainframe lives in our connected world! This means that the mainframe needs to be part of your overall IT security strategy - you need to ensure that the security controls that are used across the enterprise can also be used with the mainframe.
