Announcing ZOWE and VS Code plugins for ChangeMan ZMF 8.2 Patch 5

We appreciate the investments our customers continue to make with ChangeMan ZMF, and this latest Patch Update gives our customers the ability to not only adopt DevOps practices, but to automate and integrate traditional ISPF users with users who are more familiar with modern tools such as VS Code. As part of this patch update, we have been able to build new plugins for ChangeMan ZMF that reach new users and embrace a more open mainframe adoption. We recently joined the Open Mainframe Project, as a result, we have been able to build our first plugin. Based on the ZOWE platform, the ZOWE CLI plugin enables DevOps automation such as supporting CI/CD pipelines. For your modern users we have extended ChangeMan ZMF to integrate with VS Code Explorer. Both plugins will be available via our Micro Focus Marketplace and available to our customers for free. We will also be releasing the VS Code Explorer onto the VS Gallery. With these latest plugin extensions, ChangeMan ZMF can remain as your vault and allow your users freedom and flexibility to use the tools they want without sacrificing or compromising security and governing processes.
