About this talk

When you’re having friends round for dinner you’ll most likely do some research on what you’re going to cook – does anyone have a food allergy, are they vegetarian, teetotal or have other dietary needs? If it’s a special occasion you’ve probably made additional plans – baking a celebration cake or favourite dessert. By doing the research and having a solid plan in place you’re setting yourself and your guests up for an evening to remember! When it comes to communicating with members about their pension, taking the same approach to preparation and planning means those individuals have the information they need to make educated decisions that are right for them. We want to make sure everyone has the retirement they’ve saved for and where possible don’t miss out on those special events. Steph Gold and Rachel Harold from Barnett Waddingham’s in-house creative communications team, DrumRoll, will discuss how a communication strategy can not only maximise engagement but also go above and beyond what we have to do as a regulatory standard to meet the needs of our members.
