About this talk

With more people saving into pensions than ever before, pension schemes are serving an increasingly diverse population of savers. Implementing the right Diversity Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Strategy, can have wide reaching benefits - from better decision making, through to inclusive design and engagement and ultimately driving improved member outcomes. In the wake of the Pensions Regulators’ published guidance, governing bodies are being asked to improve schemes’ DEI - the Scottish Widows Master Trust has made meaningful strides in this area, successfully embedding a wide-ranging and comprehensive DEI framework which can be adapted and implemented by any governing body. Sandy Dhlamini, ED&I lead at the Pensions Regulator joins Sharon Bellingham, Master Trust Lead at Scottish Widows, for an enlightening discussion. DEI is not a one-size-fits-all, but this session will help you to create and embed an EDI strategy that works for you and your members.
