About this talk

Information Governance has become increasingly complex in recent years; driven by ever-changing regulation, technological innovation and more stringent customer expectation. As the industry advances, outdated manual processes are put to the test. CUBE will be sitting down with Matthew Bernstein and Lynn Molfetta of MC Bernstein Data, as well as our very own Head of Customer Success, Lee Fairey, to discuss the growing significance of Regulatory Intelligence within Information Governance. Following our recent blog series, ‘InfoGov Insights’, this fireside chat will explore how Regulatory Intelligence is essential to successful outcomes within three key areas of Information Governance: operational effectiveness, data privacy and defensible disposal. Featuring: Matthew Bernstein led information management practices in various global financial services businesses at Deutsche Bank for more than 20 years, and now leads his own firm. His last position before starting MC Bernstein Data was head of Deutsche Bank’s Group Information and Records Management function, with global responsibility for Records Management, Archiving, and eDiscovery Operations. Lynn Molfetta has more than 20 years of experience across multiple business disciplines, leading global transformation projects and operating functions. She has led process development and restructuring, global rollout of IT solutions, and operationalization of Information Governance programs. Over the course of her career, she has been the Global Head of Records Management at Deutsche Bank and Citibank, and COO/Chief of Staff for the General Counsel of American Express. Lee Fairey has more than 15 years of first-hand experience managing information and technology risk at a variety of financial institutions, including RBS, BNY Mellon and Citi. Lee’s specialist expertise includes the application of RegTech to capture regulatory intelligence and manage regulatory change for information governance.

Knowing about regulatory change is one thing. Having the regulatory intelligence and analytical capabilities to understand the impact of regulatory change on your business is a very different matter. It may take days or even weeks to re-evaluate your compliance status and remediate non-compliant gaps, especially when you are a financial institution operating in multi-jurisdictional, multi-state, and cross-border environments. CUBE leverages AI-driven technology to automate the capture of global regulatory data, alert you to regulatory changes that pose a compliance risk to your business, pinpoint all policies, procedures, controls and records that are affected, and enable rapid remediation.
