About this talk

Previous studies have shown that the representation of women in cybersecurity is not where it should be, but it is not as clear why this is the case, or how exactly we can improve matters. In collaboration with the DEI firm Aleria, WiCyS is launching a pioneering study to understand the real causes of disparities in the experiences of women in cybersecurity, and to help us understand how best to pinpoint and remove the barriers that keep women from being recruited, hired, retained and promoted at the same rate as men. Join our 30-minute webinar on January 25 at 1 pm CT to learn about Aleria’s approach to measuring inclusion, why measuring inclusion is much better than focusing on diversity alone, and how we will leverage this unique methodology to develop a benchmark study on the "State of Inclusion for Women in Cybersecurity".
