In Couchbase Server 7.0, the Index Service significantly increases the scale of indexes you can use in a Couchbase server – up to 10,000 indexes – allowing applications to scale and perform better than ever. To support this increased scale, our engineers made innovative architectural changes, adding sharding and better resource management capabilities in the underlying storage engine called Plasma. In this session, we will focus on what a developer or an administrator needs to know to effectively use and manage the Indexing Service’s storage subsystem, including tips for storage resource management, tuning options, and statistics for monitoring.
