About this talk

While women have never been more influential in Technology Industries than they are today, it’s not quite time to declare “mission accomplished.” Acquia CMO Lynne Capozzi will guide a panel of accomplished Women in Tech leaders in a discussion of the progress made so far, where we’re headed next, how to support the next generation, and much more. Within this panel we will be joined by 4 Panellists, for a discussion around the following questions & topics: - Let’s start with some brief introductions –, tell us who you are and your role within your organizations and a bit about your journey to that role?
 - Was there a catalyst in your career that changed the course of your career?
 - Have you seen substantial changes since entering the tech world and now?
 - Impostor syndrome—the idea that you’ve only succeeded due to luck, and not because of your talent or qualifications—was first identified in 1978 by psychologists Pauline Rose Clance and Suzanne Imes. In their paper, they theorized that women were uniquely affected by impostor syndrome.
Did you ever experience feelings of Imposter Syndrome and how did you overcome?
How can you effectively manage women who may be experiencing Imposter Syndrome?
 - How are you paying it forward to help encourage the next generation of leaders or to help women break into the industry?
 - What’s one of piece of advice you’d give to your younger self?
Acquia will also be making a donation to Tech Girls Movement Foundation, a charity supporting women & emerging girls in STEM-related industries. We appreciate your support towards such an empowering movement & organisation!
