About this talk

While working at Intuit as a NetOps and AppOps Engineer, Ted Turner, was executing a cloud smart strategy to consolidate regional data centers and move workloads to the public cloud. Ted will share his firsthand experiences so you can benefit from his learnings while managing workload performance, service assurance, and end user experience across a distributed hybrid cloud environment. As digital transformation with cloud first and cloud smart strategies is driving cloud migration and data center consolidations, Ted will step through the unforeseen issues and challenges he faced and the successful workarounds he used during and post cloud migration. Join Ted and cPacket Networks’ cloud and networking expert Michael Vallas and learn from the importance of: • Preparedness for real-world challenges of network-aware application monitoring during cloud migration • Different scenarios and real-world examples of issues encountered, and resolutions provided using network visibility • Tips, techniques, and tools to use that would make your life easier Featured Panelists: Ted Turner Ted has worked as a Network Engineer over the last 10 years helping migrate applications from the data center into the cloud.
