Trick or Treat? Who's Knocking On Your Cybersecurity Door?

When it comes to ransomware, should your agency pay? Not anymore. Under the new amendments to Florida’s State Cybersecurity Act (Bill HB 7055), all state and local governmental entities are prohibited from making ransom payments and must prioritize cybersecurity risk mitigation and ensuring their government employees receive ongoing cybersecurity training.

This new policy has many government officials asking the following:
