Introduction to Fuzzing with GitLab Demo and Q&A

Presented by

Fernando J. Diaz - Sr. Technical Marketing Manager

About this talk

GitLab provides many scanners and security tools to detect known vulnerabilities, but what about vulnerabilities which are not part of a database? For this GitLab provides both Coverage-Based fuzzing, and Web-API fuzzing. Fuzz testing sets operation parameters to unexpected values in an effort to cause unexpected behavior and errors in the application. This helps you discover bugs and potential security issues that other QA processes may miss. At this event, we’ll cover: - Overview of fuzzing - Setup and Configuration of Fuzzing - Live Demo of Coverage-Based and Web-API fuzzing in action - Q&A - you'll be able to ask questions throughout the session and we'll follow-up with answers via the email. There won't be a live Q&A session during the demo
