    La evolución del marco de reporte PRI – actualizaciones sobre el proceso de actualización y Q&A

    Como parte del plan a 10 años Blueprint for responsible investment – buscado cómo llevar la inversión responsable adelante en la próxima década – nos comprometimos a emprender una extensa revisión de nuestro metodología de reporte. Esto incluye los indicadores de informes, nuestra metodología de evaluación, los resultados de informes y las plataformas para respaldar este proceso.

    La revisión de a metodología de evaluación comenzó con una primera fase de consulta en 2019. Ahora hemos completado una segunda fase de consulta, donde los signatarios tuvieron la oportunidad de indicar su nivel de apoyo a la propuesta de cómo podría ser un nuevo marco de Informes y Evaluación. La propuesta se basó en gran medida en los comentarios de los firmantes durante la primera fase de consulta, con la supervisión de la Junta del PRI y el apoyo del Comité Asesor de Reporte y Evaluación.

    Como parte de nuestro compromiso continuo con los signatarios para crear un nuevo y robusto marco de evaluación, lo invitamos a unirse a uno de nuestros seminarios web para conocer más sobre la evolución de los reportes PRI. Abordaremos los puntos importantes planteados en la segunda consulta, validaremos los cambios realizados en a la metodología a través de preguntas de sondeo y resolveremos dudas de los signatarios a través de una sesión de preguntas y respuestas.

    Este seminario web:
    • servir como una actualización de la revisión general de la metodología de reporte y evaluaciones;
    • esbozar los resultados de la segunda fase de consulta y cómo se están incorporando estos hallazgos en el desarrollo de la nueva metodología;
    • proporcionar más detalles sobre el modelo Core / Plus;
    • validar el modelo a través de preguntas de sondeo; y
    • responder cualquier pregunta que pueda tener la audiencia sobre el desarrollo de la nueva metodología de evaluación
  • Evolving PRI Reporting: progress update and Q&A May 29 2020 9:00 am UTC 90 mins
    Fiona Reynolds, CEO, PRI
    As part of our 10-year Blueprint for responsible investment – looking at how to take responsible investment forward over the next decade – we committed to undertake an extensive review of our Reporting Framework. This includes the reporting indicators themselves, our assessment methodology, the reporting outputs and the platforms to support this.

    The Reporting Framework review began with a first consultation phase in 2019. We have now completed a second consultation phase, where signatories had the opportunity to indicate their level of support for the proposal of what a new Reporting and Assessment framework could look like. The proposal was heavily based on signatory feedback during the first consultation phase, with oversight from the PRI Board and support from the Reporting and Assessment Advisory Committee.

    As part of our continued engagement with signatories to create a robust new Reporting Framework, we invite you to join one of our webinars with the PRI’s CEO, Fiona Reynolds to hear more about how PRI reporting is evolving. Fiona will be addressing important points raised in the second consultation, test the developments made in the Framework through polling questions, and engage with signatories via a Q&A session.

    This webinar will:
    • serve as an update on the overall Reporting and Assessment review;
    • outline the results from the second consultation phase and how these findings are being incorporated into the development of the Framework;
    • provide more detail on the Core/Plus model;
    • test the ideas through polling questions; and
    • answer any questions the audience might have regarding the development of the new Reporting Framework

  • Timber, Pulp, and Paper: An Overview of ESG and Climate Risks for Investors Recorded: Mar 30 2020 59 mins
    Clara Melot (ZSL SPOTT), Robert-Alexandre Poujade (BNP Paribas AM), Ivone Satsuki Namikawa (Klabin), Gemma James (PRI)
    Protecting forests is essential to meeting targets set out by The Paris Agreement. Tropical forests could provide up to 30% of the mitigation required to combat climate change. While palm oil, cattle and soy are major drivers of deforestation, around a quarter of forest degradation and loss is driven by forestry activities. As such, they pose major financial and reputational risks to companies in the timber and pulp sector. An increasing number of financial institutions and major brands are adopting commitments to mitigate these risks and address deforestation in their portfolios and supply chains, but more action is needed to protect forests.

    This webinar, co-hosted by PRI and ZSL SPOTT, will highlight the main ESG risks posed by the timber and pulp industry, take stock of the current state of private sector commitments in relation to timber and pulp products and highlight the importance of scrutinizing upstream companies to ensure the effective implementation of these commitments.

    SPOTT supports the finance sector and supply chain stakeholders to manage environmental, social and governance (ESG) risks. Their Timber and Pulp platform assesses 97 timber and pulp producers, processors and traders on the public disclosure of their policies, operations and commitments to environmental, social and governance (ESG) best practice.

    The agenda will include:
    (1) An overview of the latest SPOTT Timber and Pulp benchmark, including key ESG and climate issues identified and progress to date;
    (2) A company perspective on implementing best practices in managing ESG and climate issues within their operations and supply chain;
    (3) An investor case study about their approach to ESG and climate risks and opportunities management in the Timber, Pulp and Paper sector.

    All interested investors are welcome to register. A recording of the webinar will be made available afterwards for those who cannot attend.
