About this talk

To truly fuel the new IoT economy, barriers to entry need to be lower for everyone – OEMs, SiPs and software developers across the value chain. However, new requirements such as connectivity, security updates and the rapid evolution of machine learning processing at endpoints has resulted in a steep increase in software development complexity. Arm Virtual Hardware provides a modern development flow, delivering flexibility, simplicity, and the opportunity for rapid IoT device development without complexities. It is an evolution of Arm's modelling technology delivering functionally accurate models of Arm-based SoCs for developers to build and test software before and after hardware availability. Arm Virtual Hardware runs as an application in the cloud for simulating memory and peripherals, removing the complexity of building and configuring board farms for testing, and enables developers to use modern development practices, such as DevOps and MLOps. In this session, Arm experts will take you through: • What is Arm Virtual Hardware? • How it can accelerate product development • Overview of the beta, incorporating the Cortex-M55 processor and Ethos-U55 microNPU This session is part of the Arm Virtual Hardware Lab Series.
