About this talk

Wellbeing. The word that is on everyone's lips right now. With a global pandemic under our belt and everyone's personal circumstances being tested, HR needs to ensure our people's wellbeing is being taken care of, but one thing stands in our way – managers. Managers can be both the champions of wellbeing and the blocker to supporting people. When managers are skeptical of new or different practices and expectations, one of two things will happen. They either run for the hills or they flourish. Having wellbeing conversations as part of regular check-ins with their team are a must. With 1 in 4 people suffering a mental health problem each year, it cannot be ignored by managers who simply don’t wish to include this as part of regular conversation. The biggest question of all is how, how do you get managers to fix-up and start having those wellbeing conversations? And how do you champion and utilize those who do? During this webinar we’ll explore: The importance of having manger – employee wellbeing conversations How can HR support line managers to have wellbeing conversations How to turn skeptical managers into advocates How can tech support wellbeing
