About this talk

With the global automotive industry undergoing a shift towards more sustainable operations, the demand for improved battery technology is growing exponentially. As consumers and governments have been focused on the reduction of carbon emissions, the next step in battery development needs to solve some fundamental problems related to range, performance, reliability, weight and cost. The changing battery compositions and factory infrastructure needed for this will have impacts on the commodities sector and wider capital markets, changing the landscape of the automobile sector profoundly. In this presentation we discuss the technology behind batteries in Electric Vehicles and their potential in the automotive industry through the use of current battery technology, and the metals needed to support the production. We'll cover: • What are the projected number of EV manufacturers utilising this technology? • Where is battery technology, and what are the differences between the types • What metals are needed to make this transition a reality? Professional investors can expect to gain an insight of innovations and technology crucial to this transition.

NTree’s goal is to educate European investors on the investment opportunities in the Chinese and Commodities markets. As the Chinese economy continues to grow at breakneck pace and China remains at the forefront in innovation in high-tech sectors, the investment case for China is stronger than ever. Meanwhile, world market volatility further highlights the necessity for European investors to consider adding Commodities to their portfolios both for diversification, and for momentum. We believe that both phenomena are inextricably linked, and present unique opportunities to the discerning investor - we intend to support investors in uncovering those opportunities.
