About this talk

Clean energy systems, stainless steel water installations and futuristic spacecraft alloys may be some of the most modern applications of metals, but it is perhaps in medicine where humans been using them longest. Gold, silver, copper, platinum and palladium have all been used widely throughout history due to their fundamental qualities. In each case, the medical industry is a key source of demand for the metal themselves. As spending on healthcare provision and R&D becomes ever more vital in the face of an aging population, this demand may be set to increase in years to come. In this webinar, we take a look at these uses, chart the impact these uses have on supply and demand, and try to map out which metals might be more heavily used in the future.

NTree’s goal is to educate European investors on the investment opportunities in the Chinese and Commodities markets. As the Chinese economy continues to grow at breakneck pace and China remains at the forefront in innovation in high-tech sectors, the investment case for China is stronger than ever. Meanwhile, world market volatility further highlights the necessity for European investors to consider adding Commodities to their portfolios both for diversification, and for momentum. We believe that both phenomena are inextricably linked, and present unique opportunities to the discerning investor - we intend to support investors in uncovering those opportunities.
