As the wave of ransomware and other attacks on government entities continues to rise, legislatures have responded with the creation of government security operations centers (or SOCs) or similar cybersecurity programs. In particular, the state of Florida has recently passed into law a program to fund its own SOC. Starting a SOC raises all kinds of questions: What are the key components?
