About this talk

Clinicians need more support than ever. To support increasingly busy clinicians, we’ve created a new generation in clinical decision support—UpToDate® Advanced. This solution helps clinicians to make faster, safe decisions by providing an extra level of expert guidance amidst uncertainty or complex cases. We developed UpToDate Advanced to address clinician knowledge gaps, which we identified by analysing search data from UpToDate-used in over half of NHS acute Trusts. Evidence-based decision trees guide users through critical decision points in each topic pathway. These features follow clinician logic and seek to help clinicians consider all factors before recording decisions in the EPR. Guides to abnormal test results, for example, provide clinicians actionable recommendations when the next steps are unclear after diagnostic testing. Take a look at UpToDate Advanced in our demo.
