Is there such thing as too big for the cloud?

About this talk

For infrastructure leaders tasked with bolstering workload resilience, the pendulum is swinging back from housing data in ‘the cloud’ to housing data in a self-owned facility. As enterprises scale, they can often become ‘too big for the cloud’ in their efforts to lower storage costs. However, cloud service providers are keenly aware of the dense compute, storage and software-laden networking required by enterprises of the future and are adapting their cost models to match changing expectations. We ask our panelists how their cloud providers are faring in the face of increased infrastructure complexities. How vital are ‘favourable’ cost models to the ultimate location of workloads, storage and networking infrastructure?
