Presented by

About this talk

The California Consumer Protection Act (CCPA) that was enacted in 2018 and went into effect earlier this year. As many noted, the CCPA was far from perfect and was criticized as overly broad or ambiguous. Some of those critics proposed a ballot initiative to increase the scope of the CCPA. On November 3rd, 2020, California citizens voted "yes" on Proposition 24, also known as the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) or CCPA 2.0, expanding and strengthening the CCPA. The new requirements under the CPRA will become effective at the start of 2021, but enforcement will not start until January 1, 2023. To proactively anticipate the requirements of the new legislation, you should know what those changes mean for your business and how Aparavi can help you mitigate the headaches that come with increasing data privacy legislation. This webinar will address: 1. How this new regulation differs from the original CCPA 2. What this new law may mean for your organization, and 3. How Aparavi can help you comply with the CCPA and CPRA
