About this talk

Reliable data is no longer just a ‘nice to have’ and insurers frequently ask where to look for the data they need to enhance their underwriting capabilities. All the information exists, but many underwriters around the world are still struggling to get access to it. We will be asking our expert panellists for their advice on where to find the essential data for accurate underwriting, with practical examples of how this can be integrated into an underwriting process with minimal effort. Ensuring the data you use is complete, current and valid is important, so we will be exploring the choices of source data and what is available from outside of insurance. This is a chance to learn more about CoreLogic from William Forde, understand what major insurers and the London market are doing from Hélène Stanway, hear how AdvantageGo is streamlining data sharing activities from Simon Fagg, and get an insurer's view from Ian Branagan, Group Chief Risk Officer at RenaissanceRe. The Learning Objectives for this live chat are: - Understand the potential for data to enhance the underwriting process and produce more accurate results - Compare some of the options available for sourcing data from both inside and outside the insurance industry - Distinguish the capabilities and innovative new features of some existing data solutions
