Presented by

John Strickland

About this talk

The airline industry has been hit by a real tsunami in the form of the Covd-19 crisis. Many airlines around the world are currently 100% grounded or have minimal capacity operating. We can expect to see many casualties, whilst even those that make it, are likely to be significantly smaller in size than today and will need to make drastic changes to their networks and business models. What are the key influences on demand returning and what do airlines need to do to survive this crisis? Who may be left standing and how might the industry change shape when we reach a new normal? John Strickland, Director of JLS Consulting and WTM’s aviation expert, will provide his insights on these challenging questions as well as providing an opportunity for you to pose your questions on the future for airlines.
